ical feed is not set for daylight savings, is there a way to fix this?

I'm not sure if you mean an iCal feed you are trying to import, or localendar's iCal feed.

The localendariCal feed includes a TimeZone entry at the top, which lets the consuming system know when the internal events should be switched to DST. This is the responisiblity of the application importing the feed.

If you have an incoming feed and DST isnt being handled, check to see if there is a TimeZone present in it (it's not required to make the feed pass validation)
