I tried to reach back a year and do a save as copy on an event that is going to repeat. The save as copy would not work. Is there a time limit on the save as copy option?

The old date was May 13th 2011 and the new date is May 18th 2012.

I would change the date to May 18th 2012 but it would not copy.

No, there is no time limit.

So you loaded the original event, changed the date details and clicked save.. but it didn't work? Did you receive any error message?

No error message! It just would not copy. I will try it again and let you know it is successful. I will be working from my office computer.

It did not work this time either.

I go to the old date (May 13, 2011), open it to update and change the event to the new date (May 31, 2012) and click on save as copy. No copy with new date is created.

Am I doing something wrong?

I was able to duplicate your issue, and I couldn't find any immediate answer in our logs, so I'm going to have to reach out to the developers to see what's up.
