I am really frustrated. I am trying to publish the month of October calender. No matter which calender I use it always shows September as the default. I have tried searching the forums but not getting any real answers. I'm starting to think there is no way to do this.

You can do this, and it's documented here:

In your case, try this:

http://www.localendar.com/public/Mel74?start_date=10/1/2011
