My calendar downloads very slowly. Is there anything that I can do to speed it up? |

http://www.localendar.com/public/rfvkids loads immediately for me; it's not a particularly complicated calendar in terms of # of events or complicated recurrence functionality. That said, the internet is a complicated animal, and there can be dozens of hops between your browser and our servers. On many computers, you can type a command like tracert localendar.com which will show you all the hops and how long each one takes. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

Is there a way to add a preloader so while the calendar is loading it will tell visitors that its loading? I've had 2 people leave because of slow load.... A preloader script would be awesome!! |

Your calendar loads instantly me for me - it has very few events. I would be curious to see a link to the page where you have published it. Since there are a variety of ways the calendar could be published, a generic "loading" message/mechanism isn't practical. But I can probably suggest some ideas for your site (using jQuery, etc) once I see a sample page. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |
