Location: (full address) This line is confusing. My affiliates are inputting things like “Homestead Historic Town Hall Museum, 41 N Krome Avenue”. Google Maps showed a park in Arizona. “41 N Krome Avenue, Homestead” shows Florida City. “41 N Krome Avenue, 33030” gets the right place. I would suggest the line be changed to “Street address and ZIP code” (City and state seem unnecessary,) And my address “19800 SW 180 Avenue, 33187” shows a place on 180 Street, not 180 Avenue, a few miles away. http://maps.google.com/ does it right. ---------------------------------------- BillWhite36 |

The easy one first:
That's a Google bug. They actually parse addresses better on their public site than they do via their API. There are a lot of messages on their forums complaining about this. We can't say "Street address and Zip code" since Zip codes don't mean anything outside the US. We actually changed the description already to "full address" hoping people would get it. Space is limited, but perhaps we can add a help pop-up or something. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |
