I recently updated to iCloud and was hoping to update the subscription link to the online calendar. We have shared this calendar through the iCloud service to iCalshare and then copied the link from there and tried to merge it with localendar. The message we have back is: http://p02-calendarws.icloud.com/ca/subscribe/1/GmEDVfkMDQcs5m2l4WWyMFu_HZeGuynAqTRR4SchHVzxXS13A5XW9VP1FiBRH-u7yr2z4CfbrGO3u_3WO8_WFaj_XJVrq3rMQwH7mjbx9rM was unable to be merged. Please check that the url is working and the calendar is in valid iCal format. This happens repeatedly. Are we not able to share the way we have proceeded? |

Apple did some strange stuff with iCloud. When I hit that url in Firefox, it works every time. Using IE; the first time it fails, the second time it works. Because of your message, we did a lot of digging into this, and I think we have a solution that will continue to work for all those other iCal providers out there, as well as for what they are doing. In short, you should be able to merge that calendar now.
