For the last month events that have been removed from the calendar (and in fact do not appear on it) are sending out reminder notices (which we then have to send out a manual email telling everybody to ignore it). this has happened several times, and today it even sent out 2 reminders for the event that no longer existed. this is a big problem, need help please.

I think one of our test servers had email turned on by mistake (and was sending reminders from an old backup of data we use for testing). That should be corrected now.

It happened again this morning, the "real" announcement went out, followed by the "obsolete" one with incorrect times/locations. We again had to inform everyone to ignore the reminder. Please make this stop, it is confusing our members, thanks.

That pesky dev email server restarted itself during our Twitter testing. It should definitely be disabled now.

Again yesterday we are getting duplicates (old and new versions of events). If this is really your test server, can you please delete anything from us to prevent this? Also, why is it that nobody else seems to be having a similar problem?

Is there someone i can forward the reminder email to, in case there is info on them that can help you track down what is going on? This is a big problem. Thanks.

That server is still disabled from everything I know - but I will check any other non-prod db backups we have and remove any details associated with your calendar.

Hopefully no more..
It seems that some "disaster recovery" hardware was being moved between datacenters, and the admins were re-activating some disabled services to make sure the move went OK. Problem is, they didn't de-activate it when they were finished, and hence the dupe emails.

Still getting them, 1 last week and again today. PLEASE make this stop. I don't know if you can check our calendar and see if anything is amiss, but I don't see anything unusual on it.
