Good Evening,
I am trying to have the RSS feed show the current day and forward. I do not know how to do thi with the current instruction. The feed is located at churchonthegreen.org. Any assistance is appreciated.

BTW, I attempted to search but received errors most of the time.

Can I ask what query you were using that generated an error?

Meanwhile...

The RSS feed currently is for the entire month. A reader would hopefully look at the pubDate and decide whether or not it should be shown

It was the search in the top right corner. It usually doesn't work. Multiple locations XP and 2000.

Tx, actually I was wondering if you could provide a specific search you were trying that didn't work (if you could test it to reproduce the problem, then tell us what didn't work, that would be most helpful)

this error was returned when attempting to retreive page three.

Other queries seemed to work OK. I searched rss and feed and they seemed to work well.

I don't know what you know about carp, but this is what I am using to present the rss on my site. Why doesn't the today + "happening soon" calander view include the equivalent rss? The rss only returns today. It would be perfect for it to include the "happening soon" portion as well.

I rebuilt the search index, but that didn't seem to fix the problem. Thanks for the info; that should make it easier to track down.

Regarding the Today+Happ Soon view, I'll have to see how that RSS is generated. I thought it was the same as the month view, just truncated in duration (apparently not!)

I believe it was corrected to use the same underlying data as the month-view. That said, there's a little internal debate about the "start date". My personal feeling is that all the rss feeds should start w/ today's date; but the month and week views start at the beginning of their respective periods.

I believe this was done upon requets of some users, but it's not set in stone by any means...

Anyway, what this means to you is that while today+happening soon shows a week in the future, the rss feed shows what's new through the end of the month. This is only temporary; it will ultimately show the identical series of events.
