Yes - the thread was getting a little long and I was trying to get back to your original issue (preserving checked/unchecked categories on the legend) I don't know that I ever saw exactly how you were including the calendar so I could give you a definitive answer why we were not currently supporting it for certain publishing styles. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

Marc, The issue is really the following: we want to publish our calendar with only some categories (filtered categories via the recently released option within the localendar publishing page, "Optional: Select specific event categories to be shown"). The resulting code is as follows: <SCRIPT src="http://www.localendar.com/public/XXXX?categories=100%2C101%2C102%2C103%2C104%2C105%2C106%2C107&include=Y&dynamic=Y"></SCRIPT> This actually works for us until the user hits the next or prior arrow at which point all of our calendar's events are displayed in the next or prior month, i.e. the filtered categories are not filtered anymore. We had to remove the arrows and duplicate our code for each month to avoid the problem but this is far from being ideal... You can see the implementation here: http://www.perthalacarte.com/#!calendar/c7fs. Any help would be greatly appreciated... |

I don't think so. I need one calendar with the ability to display categories and hide others. Please advise. |

NeilJ, We can do that; have you played around with that feature? Create some custom categories and add some events to them - then check out your public calendar view. (Make sure when you create your custom categories that you check the " Include a category legend on your public calendar" checkbox) ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

OK - Now I see what you mean. The list of categories displayed is persisted between month-changes, but the selected categories themselves are not. I kept thinking we were talking about the list and not the settings. We are aware that we don't persist the user selections, and that is on our list of pending enhancements. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

In investigating another issue, I noticed some code that appears to indicate this feature is supposed to already be present. So it may be more of a fix than something that new that needs to be implemented. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

Will do; there's a ticket for it in the system. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |
