Merged a couple of different calendars, now some events are showing up twice - even though some events from the same calendar are not. Please help. |

What I noticed from looking at the raw source of the merged iCal feeds is that some of the events are in fact duplicated. A good indication that localendar is not duplicating the events is the very fact that only some events are doubled and not all. For example, I looked at Sep 18, 2012. The Quickbooks - Beginner event is a double, but the Amazon event is not. Sure enough; the Quickbooks event is in the feed twice. The first instance occurs on line 326: BEGIN:VEVENT and the second on line 3418 BEGIN:VEVENT If you look at the DTSTART line, you will see that the date/time value for each event is identical, which is why you are seeing 2 events when you merge this feed into localendar. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

I deleted all merges and calendars and re-uploaded them to ensure nothing would be left. I still have some items being duplicated and some not. Any other ideas? |

Your original feed had duplicate events in it though (as per my last post) So even if you delete them from localendar and re-import them, you're just re-importing the duplicates. Open up your file http://icalx.com/public/collinsbdc/CE%20Classes.ics in a text editor. Look at line 315-317 and 1660-1662: 315-317
and 1660-1662
The names and times of these 2 events are identical. They are duplicates in the original feed. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |
