Hi Guys,

Apologies if this has been asked before, I've searched but couldn't really find anything specific...

I've just discovered your site today, and I'm loving what's available. Until now, I've simply been using a regular Google Calendar, and embedding that in my website.

I now intend to make full us of your features and embed a calendar across a couple of pages in slightly different ways. So far, so good! But I was wondering whether there's a way to embed code to display the current event (or the most recent, if no current event is available)?

The list view is exactly what I need for a main view and that's all fine, but I love the appearance of the pinboard view, so to slim that down to display the current event would be great.

Thanks!

By "Current Event" do you just mean Today's events on a pinboard-style view?

w/o the pinboard:

Many thanks for replying!

As you can see from the calendars we have multiple events every day - we're a community radio service, and so we're listing all of the different programmes throughout the day.

To display a daily schedule, any of the views you've linked to are absolutely fine, and I'm already making use of the 'D1' style.

But I was thinking that for the front page of our website I'd love to slim the view down even further so that I'm able to display the single item/event that is happening right 'now'. Ideally I'd very much like to use the style of the pinboard view for this as it has a great appearance, though that wouldn't be essential.

Hope that helps!

For the life of me, I thought we had a "hide events in the past" option, but I can't find it anywhere. It may have just been "hide events from previous/next months" but I can't find that either. Let me ask around on Mon.

I don't think we have "show the 'right now' event", but since I can't find the other feature, I'm not trusting myself on this one wink

That's interesting, some kind of "hide events" option could be a useful alternative, if the "right now" event isn't possible...

Thanks for looking into it!

Well, I hope you won't be offended then...
The option was just for hiding/showing events from previous/next month.

You know how a block-view of a calendar usually shows the last few days of the previous month or first few days of the next month to look "balanced"? The option I was thinking of hid events on those days.
