Hello, we are new to Localendar. Events that have been imported from our WordPress plugin into Outlook or mobile devices (Have not tested Google or Yahoo! calendars) the description does not import into Outlook or onto the mobile device. Is it possible to have the description save into the Outlook or mobile calendars? We would like to include information related to the event in the description (ie. RSVP information, facilitators, etc.) Everything else seems to be great so far, hoping the above is possible because then the plugin would be the perfect one for us. ---------------------------------------- [Edit 1 times, last edit by FpsssAdmin at Oct 8, 2013, 10:29:59 PM] |

Well I guess since I can't get any support with this I'll have to use another plugin. Can't keep waiting around on a response. |

Wow! Some people sure are in a hurry The pose does not mention if iCal or RSS is being used. In either case, if you look at the exported data, in ical, the event title is included as the SUMMARY field, and the event description in included in the DESCRIPTION area. Similarly, for RSS, the event title is included as the <title> and the description is included as <description> So, the data is there on our export. I am not sure what format you are exporting or why you don't see it in Outlook (maybe it's a setting on that side) ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

I'm testing the calendar at the bottom of one of our pages, this is how it looks: When I click the test event to download it, this is the pop up I get: The description appears there. Once I have downloaded the event using the Outlook or iCalendar icon that appears in that window, open it in my downloads, this is how it opens in Outlook: The description does not appear in Outlook. I would like the description to import into Outlook when an individual event is downloaded. |

Thanks for clarifying where you were doing the export. In the past, we have had issues with users complaining about how the description export strips out HTML and other special formatting (a necessity unfortunately, as the target systems don't all support rich descriptions) So we did have this particular export limited to just the title. However, since you asked, we've turned it back on. Let's see who complains ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

Thank you. Is there any way to stop it from saying "null" at the end of the description? |

It's fixed! Yay! Thank you! Now I have encountered another issue though... When I try to import to Google calendar, the time is incorrect... I confirmed the calendar is in the correct time zone, and it is... Soooo close... |
