As you know, I own OJPpatrol with Premium Services, which I am setting up for a select group. The Sharing Feature is set up for about a dozen people with 'View Only' access. That allows them to Add an Event, in addition to Viewing.

I recently spent some time working with the 'Add Event' screen. I was very surprised to learn that the space for ' Your email address:' only allows for 20 characters! That may be fine if one has a short name and a Gmail or Yahoo address, but it doesn't work for ISP's that have a long address. My ISP is owned by Buckeye Broadband, and their address is: @buckeye-express.com.

mhiggins@buckeye-express.com requires 28 characters and therefore you could not add an event! In the 1930's there was a heavy Polish immigration into Toledo, and many still remain. If your name is NicholasKapszukiewicz@buckeye-express.com , that requires 41 characters.

So would you please enlarge the capacity of ' Your email address:' to something like 70 or 80 characters?

That should be sufficient for almost any name and Email address.

Do you mean on the "Visitor Add Event" screen?
It's 25-ish characters wide, but will scroll to accommodate 40 characters of text.

That doesn't help NicholasKapszukiewicz@buckeye-express.com though (41), does it?

We've increased the field to 80 characters

(also note my response to your other post about emailing calendar admins on new events)

Yes, the 'Visitor Add Event' screen. Previously I tried to scroll it, and thought I did not get over 20, BUT I confirm the 80 character field now. Thanks for doing this.

I'll respond to the email calendar admins on that thread.
