I would like to set a start date/start month on my embedded calendar. Is this possible? I would like to do this so that people to not need to scroll forward to something in the future. I would like that month to appear so they can easily access the information needed.

Sure.. you just need to use the start_date parameter

Find the line in your embed code generated from our Publish Wizard that looks something like this:

<script type="text/javascript" src='//localendar.com/public/REIEvents?style=M5&include=Y'></script>

and add the start date you want to "force"

<script type="text/javascript" src='//localendar.com/public/REIEvents?style=M5&include=Y&start_date=3/1/2019'></script>
