Repeating events are not showing on my public calendar after December of 2006. If I make a single, non-repeating entry it WILL show but most all of my entries are repeating. Everything is marked 'public'. I just purchased a premium package a few weeks ago and this all worked before. I opened a ticket already and have not received a response. Has anyone else experienced this problem? -Tracy |

Hey tducke01! Look at "SOME Events There, but Not on Web From Jan-May 07" right now its just below your entry. Lots of us are having the same problem. For me, one day my 07 repeating entries were on the web, the next log on they were gone. But, when I sign in to edit my calendar, everything is still there! All the folks responding to my comment sound like pros and not calendar newbies. So, it has to be a script problem with localendar. However, it seems as if for some folks it may start to cost them some loss of business or money. Yet, localendar is not answering our mail or fixing the problem. JAS/Dance Fusion |

Thanks for the note dancefusion. I did see your posting after I posted mine, and then I noticed others having the same problem. I guess the more posts on the subject, the better. I'm a bit relieved that it's not just me, I feel like we have more of a chance of them fixing it if there are many people experiencing the same issue. Thankfully, I'm not in a situation where it's costing me money, but it's causing me a big headache for sure. I hope they fix it soon. In the meantime, we should all keep on them until they have a solution!! |

Thank you! I agree we need to stay on them or him! I got tired of waiting for repair that I left the following note for Marc Higgins, who seems to be the only repair person, under Quick Go: Announcements, "Preview of New Calenders." Re: Preview of New Calendar Style Reply to this Post Hey Marc! How can I say this nicely....here goes....How about taking a break from playing with new calendars and solve the probelms with the current calendars! Please take a look at our topics and comments under Known Problems: "SOME Events There, but Not on Web From Jan-May 07," and "Repeating events not showing after December 2006." Hope it gets someone's attention. JAS/Dance Fusion |

Yes, I am having the same problem with my site. I have just emailed them also. How did (or did you) solve this issue? |

Hi CMH! I have neither been able to solve the problem, nor get localendar's attention. I just keep complaining, and hope the support service person sees my posting. Good luck! JAS/Dance Fusion |

Nicely said, dancefusion. The longer this goes on, the bigger problem it is - for a lot of people. LOCALENDAR, please help your customers and solve this issue! |

Fixed. Please see this thread: http://www.localendar.com/lcf/lcforums/viewthread?thread=1807 As touched upon there: when members deluge us with messages (MaryBethWrenn, you mention sending a number of different communications, but I'm not singling you out) we have 2 options: 1) Respond to them all (we can't post a general message b/c frankly we've tried this in the past and it doesn't work - people just look at the thread where they raised an issue) 2) Fix the problem, then catch up with the posts We always opt for #2. Frankly, until we fix the problem, posting a lot of "we're looking into it" responses only delays the actual fix. If you trail the message history, you will see this has been explained in the past. I don't think there are any showstoppers out there that we haven't looped back and corrected. dancefusion : I make it a policy to not delete posts as I feel they all have useful information, regardless of the tone. But guerilla tactics like hijacking threads, or posting inappropriate material to the Announcements forum will not be tolerated. Please consider this a gentle reminder to not take this route in the future. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |
