I have been typing for an hour this morning entering names for a volunteer function we are having. After entering the data, I always click Update. The problem is that it does not always save the data. I am loosing tons of info that I am entering in.

Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance! biggrin

Does the Calendar page ultimately return after you click Update?

Does Updating the same event with the exact same changes sometimes "take" and other times not? Are your changes related to event title, description, dates, or something else (colors?)

Can you provide the description/date of an event on your calendar that didn't get updated one or more times correctly?

Tx.

Well things were working for a while hence why I did not reply. Now I am having the issue again.

-When I click update, everything goes as usual except the changes have not been made. I.E. I am typing names into the description. I occassionally add names. Today when I was adding names, the new ones do not take and the old ones are still there.

-Yes, on some days it is fine, others - not so great. On some days today it worked just fine - on others it did not. I even added only one name at a time to the description and it took. So I tried to do that and it worked for a couple names, now it no longer works.

-One dat in particular I am having trouble with is Saturday, October 6 - Event titled FMSC Packing Date 3-5pm, I think it also happened with the 6-8 one on the same day.

TX!

OK, I have narrowed things down a bit and changed some names of events. Oct 5 FMSC Shift 2 will not accept updates all the time. Oct 6 FMSC Shift 6 is also giving me trouble. As I stated before, this is a sporadic occurrance. Sometimes it works, sometimes it does not. I have tried many different options to get around this and it does not seem to like any of them.

Simply, I am in a crunch here because this is for a volunteer effort we are doing. We are organizing hundreds of people and our event is coming soon. Help ASAP would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks so much and God bless!

My guess is that you are running out of space.

FMSC Shift 2 contains 1979 characters; the limit for descriptions is 2000. If I click the little "HTML" button on the description editor, I can see the full text that localendar is attempting to store for your entry.

You may need to somehow split the events into 2 separate entries so that you'll have more room.
