Please cancel my subscription. I did not authorize another charge to my credit card, and localendar did it anyway. This was unethical, and not appreciated. I demand both a cancellation, and a refund. I will take the appropriate steps to acquire both if nothing is done a week from today, January 9th. Many thanks. |

Paypal subscriptions are renewed automatically (hence the term subscription) . We do not store any credit card or billing information, nor do we initiate the renewal/rebilling process. Weff sounds like I am not the only one, I recieved no notification of this auto billing. I am very disappointed with PayPal and with Localander. Let me know if you get any further response ---------------------------------------- Lets go Diving |

You've got a good scam going here. Subscription does, in fact, mean that I requested a service...for one year. Not indefinitely. Your sarcastic and condescending remark is noted. |

I have now cancelled my PayPal subscription so that you crooks can no longer steal money from me. I hope LoCalendar continues to dominate in the booming online calendar market. Oh wait...there are only 50 of us that use your shoddy service. Well then, I hope your second job provides you monetary security. |

From the Yale legal library: Subscription: A type of Licensing Agreement by which a Licensee pays for access to digital information by payment of a periodic fee. I do not think I made any inappropriate comments. Let me know if you have any luck in getting a refund. Localendar did the same to two accounts that were long-ago cancelled, charging me through Paypal. And never any response despite several attempts from anyone a LoCalendar. If you have a number with a real live person at the other end, or a real e-mail address, please pass it along. Marc Higgins - I did cancel both my subscriptions, with Localendar, more than year ago. You still billed me for renewal through Paypal. Not authorized. Inappropriate. If you would peruse my other posts on this issue, you would see that we do not renew subscriptions. It is PayPal. I have noted on numerous similar threads (search cancel or subscription) that sending us an email to cancel your subscription does not accomplish anything. You need to cancel your subscription through PayPal. If you do not cancel through them, your subscription will continue to annually renew. I don't have access to your PayPal account, so I cannot perform this task for you. I can understand your desire for an immediate response, but as I mentioned earlier, this has already been discussed multiple times and is easily accessible via a simple search. Finally, I am trying to be courteous and address your comments. Marc - I've still not had a response to my several e-mails to Localendar through the comment form, and through general e-mails. Are you going to refund the two subscription fees charged through Paypal? My billings to Localendar through Paypal are still not processed.
