Hi Marc,

I am about to expire for the free premium services trial period. I am interested in having the services that come with premium. I have a couple of questions first. Would I be able to speak with you to get the couple of questions answered before I go ahead?

Kindest Regards, Tey-na

You can ask as many questions as you would like. Just simply send an email or ask through the forums. We would be happy to answer anything.

Hi Sarah,

Thank you for your reply.

Here are questions I have posted before:

1. How do users switch back and forth between my forum and calendar? I see the discussion board link on the calendar....once in the forum I am missing how to get back to my calendar.

3. I have selected to review and approve all events before changing them from private to public. Would this essentially be the same as only allowing access to certain people for my calendar?

4. How do I restrict who has access to my discussion board? It appears mandatory that each person register for a localendar account - I need to know if I can allow or block users at my discretion? I need to make sure that I can ban offensive user ids.

5. I would like to have my logo appear on the discussion board, is it possible to have only my information show?

Could you take a look at www.pbeventcalendar.com It doesnt appear that a register / log in screen comes up when migrating from the calendar to the forum. I apologize for the stupide questions as I am sure it is me that is missing something - your assistance is greatly appreciated.

Hi Tey-na,

Hope this helps...
1) To get back to your person calendar, there should be a My Calendar link in the header bar. Otherwise, there is not a direct link back to the calendar

3) (we skipped 2?) You can restrict localendar View access to particular members (under the Premium->Sharing menu option). However, the feature you mention pertains to allowing visitors to add Events. If you have turned it on, then anyone who can view your calendar is able to add an event (subject to your approval or not).

But by default, anyone can view your public calendar.

4) The forum implementation is basic and does not currently allow you to block users by Id. This has not been a frequently requested feature.

5) To use your own logo, you would need to upload custom CSS (under Administration). You can change the default CSS for the logo to retrieve your logo from your server.
