Problems with Safari Hi - I am having issues with the calendar not displaying on Safari, but it shows up just fine in Chrome (haven't checked other browsers). I have the calendar displayed in month, week, and "special events" views per the client's request. These views are accessed by clicking different tabs. Each calendar view loads fine in Chrome, but they just aren't loading in Safari. Problematic for myself and my client. Anything Im doing wrong? Here's the url: https://www.historicdowntownpoulsbo.com/events-calendar Thanks, Sharon |

Re: Problems with Safari It looks like you have built your site using wix.com I'm not sure exactly how you've included your calendar (what wix widget, since we don't provide our own) but I see your calendar referenced in your page source both as http:// and https:// i.e., http://localendar.com/public/HDPACalendar and https://localendar.com/public/HDPACalendar Some browsers will block http:// content when the page is loaded over https:// (and vice-versa). The trick is to *always* used what is called the "protocol neutral url" on your site (this is what is generated by our Publish Wizard) So for example, you would want to find all the places on your page where you have a localendar url, and strip off either the http: or the https: Your urls should look like this: //localendar.com/public/HDPACalendar Please give that a try first and report back what happens. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |
