I have noticed that when I "update" an event, that that "last modified on..." is not stating the right time I modified the event. Is there a preference I have to select to get the right time shown?

Last Modified should be in Greenwich Mean Time (the timezone GMT is at the end of the date/time shown). Is that the reason it's not the time you are expecting?
