"Remind me about this event" gets an error	Reply to this Post Reply with Quote

Hi,

Events more than 24 hours in advance show a "Remind me about this event" checkbox. When I enter an email address and press Set, no confirmation message shows, and a red exclamation point image shows to the right of the Set button. What does that mean?

The "!" means the reminder isn't being set for some reason. I'll look into it and let you know when it will be fixed.

update: red exclamation issue should be fixed.
todo: I still want to verify when you uncheck the box, the reminder will be cleared (not sure this is working correctly)

Thanks, Marc. I entered two email addresses for an event occurring on Sunday morning, and the page showed a green checkmark when I pressed Set. I will report back tomorrow when I should receive those reminder emails.

I did two test events on my calendar (of a non-repeating event, since that seems to be where the issues were) and received both reminders.

I just changed your Sat test event to tomorrow at 9am PST, and kept your email on there (and added one for me). Let's see what happens.

Btw, the "send a reminder" section wasn't open/expanded when I edited your event, so unless you closed it afterwards, that's one potential reason why you wouldn't receive an email.
