Hi Marc! Thanks for your reply. I guess the link produced by your system is not ssl. So we just have to create our own link and add https. |

We support both, but all the embeddable links we generate should be with a protocol neutral url (like //localendar.com/public/sample) which will automatically adjust to whatever protocol the user uses to access the site. We would love to turn http:// off completely, but since we are providing a widget that people can embed in their own personal sites (and since many of these sites are still not on https://) for now we still support it. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

We're not seeing any performance issues on our side since we (temporarily) disabled our external weather feed last month. Performance is currently excellent according to several of the external monitoring sites we use for verification. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

I haven't had any issues over the last year or so with localendar, so have not been checking your forum. In your June 24, 2021 post on the topic 'Re: localendar.com SSL certificate seems to be expired', you said: "We would love to turn http:// off completely, but since we are providing a widget that people can embed in their own personal sites (and since many of these sites are still not on https://) for now we still support it." PLEASE don't turn off http://. Some of us are computer coding challenged enough without having to figure out how to convert our website from http: to https: Harry Ward |

Noted :) Yes, we realize there are many webmasters who are not able to make the switch to https://, so we have no immediate plans to drop support for http:// ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |
