Been forever since I been out here on the forums. Got a question about the mini calendar. Out on the net I have seen mini calendars that show the entire year, by month, with active dates for events, clickable. exp: http://www.circlecitycorvairs.org/?q=calendar/2014 I know loCal has a mini but only a month at a time is shown. and an individual has to browse through all the months to see what events are going on each month. Is there a way to get the entire year (like the example) in mini calendars. Would love to have this option for our club website. Could use iframe or embed Think it option would be a great asset for LoCal's various calendar choices. ---------------------------------------- ccccwebsite Circle City Corvette Club ---------------------------------------- [Edit 2 times, last edit by ccccwebsite at Jan 8, 2014, 3:10:32 AM] |

The thing that has always concerned us about those "year" views is the usability, and also the performance impact (calculating all those recurring events, exceptions, and imported calendars for an entire year!) But since it's you, we'll think about it ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

Well, can you hurry up I can understand all the different scenario's but seeing you are who you are, why couldn't you require simple entries/no imports, no exceptions no nothing just simple entries and have a limited number of entries per month allowed like 10 entries per month BUT If it can't be done then I'll have to deal with it somehow *walking away head hanging down, dragging a blanket behind, a single tear rolling down the cheek* ---------------------------------------- ccccwebsite Circle City Corvette Club ---------------------------------------- [Edit 2 times, last edit by ccccwebsite at Jan 13, 2014, 12:45:09 AM] |

Luckily, hardware has been getting quicker and bandwidth faster so I don't think we'll have to add any restrictions (which are more trouble to implement and explain, frankly ) But I still think it will be a few weeks to implement b/c I can't put it at the front of the queue. We are working on a Section 508/ADA compliant view of the calendar based on some requests from US agencies, and I think this is something we can include as part of that effort. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |
