The Month view frequently has the month name in the first day of the month box along with the digit (i.e., January 1). But when you narrow the calendar to fit on a smaller screen, two lines are required for 'January 1'. See: http://www.localendar.com/elsie?JSP=PublishedCalendar&mode=PUBLISH_PUBLIC&search_type=M0&start_date=01/01/15&calendar_id=327130, select the month view for January, and narrow the page. This is wasted vertical space. Not all of the months have the month name included on the 1st day. February, March & November do not. So what code do I need to remove the name and just leave the digit for all the months? And in the URL referenced above, the color of the digit is white, not the standard black. What code is required to change the digit color? I checked the forum and the FAQ, and could not find this subject addressed. You should always see the Month Name when there is a month-change in the middle of a month-view (make sense?) I don't believe we have any plans to change/shorten the display of this. Different languages have it better or worse if that's any consolation I do see some instance you mention when the name isn't being displayed, and that seems odd. I will have to log a ticket for that issue. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

Marc: I understand your logic, But above the month boxes are two places where the month is listed, and I assumed that was enough. I also asked how you changed the color of these digits, which is white in the link I included. Could you check on that when you have a chance, please? Harry |

The month # and name colors are set under Options->Colors. There are 2 color settings here: 1 for the current month, and one for the first few days (or last few days) of other months. On the color prefs editor, you can click any of the boxes for days 1-31 to set the text color for the current month. Clicking 30,31 or 1,2 will let you set the text (and background) colors for previous/next months ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |
