Great! When you have something, post a notice here. Then I can test it.

The option for emailing the calendar owner and/or all the calendar admins is now present on the Options->General page. I should note that we are still actively testing it.

Let me know how you make out, too.

I see you have added a checkable box 'Email delegated administrators' below 'Allow Visitors to Add Calendar Events'. Is this what you mean?

It is not clear to me by the "?" dropdown exactly what that includes. On the Sharing->View Permissions page, I have checked 'Restrict calendar viewing to specific members (listed below)'. Does 'delegated administrations' include ALL those given View Permissions?

Or does it only include those given Admin Permissions (which they already had before your change) .

Only those with admin permissions.
But what is new is that calendar managers can now get notified when new events are added/edited. That was not previously possible.

View-only members will not get notifications.

The "?" icon was to help people understand what a "delegated admin" is. Not clear? Do you think different wording would be better>

That doesn't really help me. In one of these threads, long ago, I noted that most of the folks in this group have neither the interest, nor the skill, to be an Administrator. That lets them get to all the features of the program, and it would be too easy for them to mess it all up. So I only have one other person, in addition to myself, listed as an Administrator.

My problem still remains: how do I get 'instant' notification to those on the 'View Permission' list? For example, would it be possible to have an option other than 'Full Access' under 'Admin Permissions', which would NOT allow the person to access the basic program, so I would not have to worry about them making changes there?

I think it is fine. Probably no one else is in my exact situation, so they would not even think about it applying to View Permission listings.

All set - you can now choose to have new event notifications sent to yourself (the calendar owner), other calendar Admins, or other calendar Viewers.
(Calendar Admins and Viewers being those other accounts you set under Sharing on the Premium menu tab)

Thanks so much for doing this. I'll give it a try in the next few days and let you know.
