The option for emailing the calendar owner and/or all the calendar admins is now present on the Options->General page. I should note that we are still actively testing it. Let me know how you make out, too. ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

Marc:
It is not clear to me by the "?" dropdown exactly what that includes. On the Sharing->View Permissions page, I have checked 'Restrict calendar viewing to specific members (listed below)'. Does 'delegated administrations' include ALL those given View Permissions? Or does it only include those given Admin Permissions (which they already had before your change) . Harry |

Only those with admin permissions. But what is new is that calendar managers can now get notified when new events are added/edited. That was not previously possible. View-only members will not get notifications. The "?" icon was to help people understand what a "delegated admin" is. Not clear? Do you think different wording would be better> ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |

My problem still remains: how do I get 'instant' notification to those on the 'View Permission' list? For example, would it be possible to have an option other than 'Full Access' under 'Admin Permissions', which would NOT allow the person to access the basic program, so I would not have to worry about them making changes there?

All set - you can now choose to have new event notifications sent to yourself (the calendar owner), other calendar Admins, or other calendar Viewers. (Calendar Admins and Viewers being those other accounts you set under Sharing on the Premium menu tab) Let us know how you make out! ---------------------------------------- Marc Higgins Support Associate, localendar.com Follow us on Twitter! http://www.twitter.com/localendar_news |
