Professional instructor Karen Gehrt leads this low impact exercise and stregnth training class at Immanuel Lutheran Church gym, 303 Church Street, Silverton. This is a great workout using bands, hand weights, and balls. Bring a mat.

Class fee is $25 per month (average of 15 classes per month) for members or $5 drop in fee per class for members and $7 drop in fee for non members. These are the only payment options. Class fee can be paid at the class, or at the Silverton 50+ Center, or by calling 503-873-3093 and paying via credit card over the phone. Membership payments may also be made at the door of this class -- there is a volunteer that brings all payments to the Silverton 50+ Center after class.

This class meets regardless of holiday closures at the Silverton 50+ Center. The only time this class does not meet is during Immanuel Lutheran Church events such as the rummage sale, the last weekend of September, and Vacation Bible School the last week of June.

Class description: All Levels | Hatha Yoga is a classic yoga class designed to strengthen the body while calming the mind. Suzanne will guide you through the poses with attention placed on body alignment and the movement of your breath. Yoga poses, asanas, are enjoyed with longer holds to encourage stillness. Props are utilized to make all poses accessible to all bodies.

Instructor bio: Suzanne Shultz, E-RYT500, YACEP has been a student of the healing arts for over seventeen years, and sharing yoga and meditation classes in a variety of settings from the studio to the vineyard since 2012. Suzanne has accumulated thousands of hours of teaching and training in several forms of Yoga, Reiki, Ayurveda, essential oils & crystals, and Meditation. Leung Sheung Wing Chun is a martial art that teaches self defense and use of internal energy can be developed regardless of your age and physical make up. through proper structure while staying relaxed. With the techniques that are taught you will be able to utilizes position, structure, and sensitivity to gain timing, speed and power rather than brute force and athleticism. Muscle strength fades with age but precise structure and use of internal energy can be developed regardless of your age and physical make up. Instructor is Tim Ramaekers of Lightning Hand Academy.

Tim Ramaekers is a certified Leung Sheung Wing Chun Kung Fu Instructor, a military veteran, and Internet Technology professional. Military injuries caused Tim to search for a way to become physically and mentally healthy, balanced, and strong, which led him to Leung Sheung Wing Chun Kung Fu. He enjoys teaching others this martial art. He is offering this class for FREE at the Silverton 50+ Center but donations to Tim are appreciated, he will have a donations jar in his class. Leung Sheung Wing Chun is a martial art that teaches self defense and use of internal energy can be developed regardless of your age and physical make up. through proper structure while staying relaxed. With the techniques that are taught you will be able to utilizes position, structure, and sensitivity to gain timing, speed and power rather than brute force and athleticism. Muscle strength fades with age but precise structure and use of internal energy can be developed regardless of your age and physical make up. Instructor is Tim Ramaekers of Lightning Hand Academy.

Tim Ramaekers is a certified Leung Sheung Wing Chun Kung Fu Instructor, a military veteran, and Internet Technology professional. Military injuries caused Tim to search for a way to become physically and mentally healthy, balanced, and strong, which led him to Leung Sheung Wing Chun Kung Fu. He enjoys teaching others this martial art. He is offering this class for FREE at the Silverton 50+ Center but donations to Tim are appreciated, he will have a donations jar in his class. Professional instructor Karen Gehrt leads this low impact exercise and stregnth training class at Immanuel Lutheran Church gym, 303 Church Street, Silverton. This is a great workout using bands, hand weights, and balls. Bring a mat.

Class fee is $25 per month (average of 15 classes per month) for members or $5 drop in fee per class for members and $7 drop in fee for non members. These are the only payment options. Class fee can be paid at the class, or at the Silverton 50+ Center, or by calling 503-873-3093 and paying via credit card over the phone. Membership payments may also be made at the door of this class -- there is a volunteer that brings all payments to the Silverton 50+ Center after class.

This class meets regardless of holiday closures at the Silverton 50+ Center. The only time this class does not meet is during Immanuel Lutheran Church events such as the rummage sale, the last weekend of September, and Vacation Bible School the last week of June.

Resistance and Strength Training with Karen at ILC gym

Professional instructor Karen Gehrt leads this low impact exercise and stregnth training class at Immanuel Lutheran Church gym, 303 Church Street, Silverton. This is a great workout using bands, hand weights, and balls. Bring a mat.

Class fee is $25 per month (average of 15 classes per month) for members or $5 drop in fee per class for members and $7 drop in fee for non members. These are the only payment options. Class fee can be paid at the class, or at the Silverton 50+ Center, or by calling 503-873-3093 and paying via credit card over the phone. Membership payments may also be made at the door of this class -- there is a volunteer that brings all payments to the Silverton 50+ Center after class.

This class meets regardless of holiday closures at the Silverton 50+ Center. The only time this class does not meet is during Immanuel Lutheran Church events such as the rummage sale, the last weekend of September, and Vacation Bible School the last week of June.

Qi Gong, known as 'standing yoga' and 'meditation with movement', is the basis for Tai Chi: except easier because you don't have to memorize any movements or sequences -- you simply mirror the instructor. Leung Sheung Wing Chun Kung Fu for self defense - FREE for members

Leung Sheung Wing Chun is a martial art that teaches self defense and use of internal energy can be developed regardless of your age and physical make up. through proper structure while staying relaxed. With the techniques that are taught you will be able to utilizes position, structure, and sensitivity to gain timing, speed and power rather than brute force and athleticism. Muscle strength fades with age but precise structure and use of internal energy can be developed regardless of your age and physical make up. Instructor is Tim Ramaekers of Lightning Hand Academy.

Tim Ramaekers is a certified Leung Sheung Wing Chun Kung Fu Instructor, a military veteran, and Internet Technology professional. Military injuries caused Tim to search for a way to become physically and mentally healthy, balanced, and strong, which led him to Leung Sheung Wing Chun Kung Fu. He enjoys teaching others this martial art. He is offering this class for FREE at the Silverton 50+ Center but donations to Tim are appreciated, he will have a donations jar in his class. A suggested donation for his instruction is $5.

Class description: All Levels | Hatha Yoga is a classic yoga class designed to strengthen the body while calming the mind. Suzanne will guide you through the poses with attention placed on body alignment and the movement of your breath. Yoga poses, asanas, are enjoyed with longer holds to encourage stillness. Props are utilized to make all poses accessible to all bodies.

Instructor bio: Suzanne Shultz, E-RYT500, YACEP has been a student of the healing arts for over seventeen years, and sharing yoga and meditation classes in a variety of settings from the studio to the vineyard since 2012. Suzanne has accumulated thousands of hours of teaching and training in several forms of Yoga, Reiki, Ayurveda, essential oils & crystals, and Meditation.
